a REAL Cobra
This is Beven in America visiting his mate and automotive book colleague who just happens to have a genuine 289 AC Cobra. Beven was there on the 4th July so rode in the Independence Day parade where the Cobra boiled. Beven couldn't get his knees under the steering wheel but Jenny fitted into it quite nicely.

Does Beven fit in a normal Mk7? I know he fits in a Mk5.
I guess all bespoke cars would offer challenges for the very tall and the very small. From memory the Whelan brothers MK 7 was built for people of compact statures and none of us could fit.
I like "compact stature" cars myself :)
I am happy to have them compact length wise but these days they need to be wider than a few years ago.
