Drag cars

It was good to see this Victorian Slipstream cover photo of John and his Nagari at the Nationals at Surfers Paradise in 1972.
That's John in the beanie.
Here's another shot.
A couple of years later it's got rego and it's out on the road. At this stage it's still got the big hemi and the big wheels and doesn't look much different although I'd like to be introduced to the designer of the bonnet scoop.
John, some time ago bought the car back and it now has normal wheel arches, has a Ford V8 and even has wind-up windows. George has the job of repainting it in its Hustler Green colour and I believe it's coming on nicely.
That wasn't the only drag Nagari. B8/115 was too.

And there was also this Queensland Mark 7.

Do you have the history of this Mk 7? Allan Davison ran his 289 Mk 7 "Voodoo" drag car which morphed into a chopped top version under a new owner. Is this the final version of the Davison car? Do we know what times it ran?

Don't know if it's the final version but I'm sure it's the Davison car. I wonder where it is now.
