Peter G sent me these photos, Scimitars mainly. This is the original Reliant Scimitar with its' Nagari/Aston/Hunter tail lights.
.....but they didn't continue to the end. This is the second generation Scimitar, not sure about the origins of the tail lights. Peter is wondering if they are the same as the the ones used on the Aston V8s post Hunter.
This is the Scimitar in 1980 with round lights. Are they aftermarket ones?
This is the Middlebridge Scimitar (approx. 1989) and the tail lights are from the VW Transporter. Only about 80 of these were produced. How would these look on the back of Nagaris?
Finally here's a picture from Bolwell's archives. What tail lights were they planning here. Peter is suggesting Cortina Mark 2. Maybe?

The green and yellow cars both have the same tail lights, as used on the Aston Martin V8 from 1976 through 1990. All my Astons have them and they are standard Lucas 56600 and 56601. The ones on the red car are early Aston V8 from 1969 to 1975. Lucas L782 - 54374 and 54375
