The Mark 7 with the Nagari doors - part 5

This lot of Dino's photos centre around the rear hatch which seems to have caught his eye.
....and finally a shot of an authentic looking chassis plate which may also pose a link to Fibrecar who saw the need to produce a batch of these. I'm told it also has a year stamped on it - 1965.My understanding is that the first Mark 7 appeared in 1966 and in 1966 it was still possible to get a Mark 5. This would make this car a very early example.

My first Mk7 was the ex Geoff Wood car, ribbed floors, grey motor and leaf springs and colour in the gel coat and was registered as a 1966 model. Currently with Peter M be interesting what the rego papers say these days as the car has been rebuilt 3 times at a minimum over the past 44 years. Good grief - 44 years. We had better use our cars before we forget where we left them!

I'm not so sure that Royce had any of those ID plates made, the ones he used were ex Factory, I think.
Does anyone know for sure?
