Unique as in "stuffed". I checked this car out personally a couple of years ago and the only thing usable was the bonnet.

Motor supposedly rebuilt then left to sit for years and probably seized, chassis cut to shreds and then eaten away and collapsed from rust, body broken in multiple areas, doors had window area cut away. nothing but nothing seemed usable except the bonnet which seems to be in reasonable condition or rather was in good condition. Yet another rare Bollie left uncovered in the open for decades and allowed to rust into the ground. Could not find the tags when I visited. Wanted $ 5000 then and now $ 6000. I agree about tears to your eyes. I have many more pics and far more revealing pics if any one wants them.

As a long time Bolwell fan and someone who will never able to afford a Bolwell I find waste like this grossly offensive.

Agreed David. Will never move it unless he lops a zero off the price, even then it's useless unless you want to 'rebirth' another car. So, I guess it will remain a garden ornament until crushed up and thrown away.

26 years in the open since 1985 - so says his reply to an enquiry on ebay. What would possess a person to leave a rare car exposed with no protection for 26 years? What cost a tarpaulin and waxoil or similar? And I have never seen fibreglass so distorted and stretched. Why not leave the windscreen in it? And what unskilled person cut all the holes in the transmission tunnel? Wheels were new 26 years ago. Imagine getting the wheel nuts off? How many studs would you break? And it cannot be moved - can't lift it or tow it. It genuinely needs to be disassembled on the spot. I lusted after this exact car 35 years ago when it was a car and not ready for the rubbish tip.
