This is an area in Thailand known as the "Detroit of the East". I hear the plan is to whip out a few truck noses. Industrial estates in Thailand are a bit like gated housing communities, you can't get past security at the gate without a pre-arranged appointment.

I'd hope there'll be more than a 'few' emmitting from their investment. Maybe they need an Industrial Designer to whip up a new sports car for them...wink.
Notice the different attire, The building development company people in more formal long sleeve white shirts and business slacks, Linley in Chinos and Alex in his ever present jeans. Oh and the ladies in their uniforms.I think they are looking 75,000 truck fronts per annum so that is more than a few. Province is well places for seaboard access for shipping.
That's great news, good on 'em! Thailand is definately the way forward for Australian offshore manufacturing at the moment, good to hear someone is making it work.
I notice that when a new model Mitsubishi comes out it usually has a Thailand label as the country of manufacture.
...as do the Holden Colorado utes.
Well, Colorado doesn't sound very Australian anyway.
