Upcoming JWF book.

Subject: Fwd: SEEKING INFORMATION ON HISTORY OF JWF GLASS FIBRE INDUSTRIES - CARS & CAR BODIES SUCH AS ITALIA & MILANO
Dear JWF Person of Interest
According to records, plus my memory bank, I have your name down as an  important person in relation to JWF history and trust that you will be  interested in our current project of producing a book for publication.  In  this I am being assisted by Bruce Polain and Ned McGovern - Bruce was very much  involved with our publicity in the early years, and Ned for his current role as  recorder of all things JWF, and of course as an owner and restorer of the  marque.
If you are an owner, we believe publication of this book can only be of  benefit to you, as it will document the impressive history of the marque and  thereby introduce and or enhance the standing  of  same to motor-sport  enthusiasts at large.
It would be our intent to include your name but not your contact details -  we trust you agree.
We would very much appreciate it if you would spare us the time to bring us  up to date regards your current involvement or knowledge of our cars - using as  a guide our list of points below:-
*How did your interest in JWF come about?
*Ownership period, year purchased  and who from. If sold, name  purchaser.
* If sold overseas, how was this arranged.
*Componentry used and colour of your car, current state.  If restored  -  details /story thereof.
*History of use, competition included.
*Do you know of any other owners? If so, contact details.
*How does ownership fit your lifestyle or interests. Do you plan to  keep?
*Would you like us to advise you when the book is finished?
*Any photos or articles of you or your car?  Any originals will be  returned or scans direct to brucepolain@ozemail.com.au
*Could you supply a headshot of  owner/driver?
*Please confirm your phone a email  details

Thanking you in anticipation of your  co-operation.  Looking forward to your early reply.

                                              Regards,

Smeetsy has been talking to Sam who is now 83 years old.

" He was telling me they bought 149 Holden
motors for $40 yes Forty bucks, and with a few mods. and a can of Wynns friction Proofing they were running them to 7500 -8000 rpm....
and ignored the oil light which would flash regularly, in their Milano GTs - he, Bruce Leer and Moss Angliss had a ball."
