Funny but in the olden days (60's) when guys turned up with triple strommies we just looked at them as dickheads. usual peer pressure to fit ever bigger cams and worked heads and triple 1.1/4 skinner unions as per my Mk5. I had a set of Amals on one grey and another set of six Amals on a Jag but tuning was the issue. People always said twin strombergs had a flat spot but hard to know when you went from no throttle to flat out every time. Ah yes the era of broken axles. and now people are not satisfied without 700 BHP in a street car. hmmm
