A little bit of historic racing

The venue is Wakefield Park. The photography of Dick Tay is fabulous.

This is the MG Milano of John Scott. It has been around for ages. But I noticed on Carpoint that it's for sale.

Here it is again. What a great shot.

And this is what Dick W has advanced to (see previous post). The car is a 1960 Asper. I'd love to know its history.

I have since found out that the reason that the red open-wheeler in this post looks so much like an Elfin Mono is because it is one. The photographer must have labelled his pictures from the programme and there just happened to be 2 number 36s. The other number 36 was, of course, an AUSPER (not Asper)driven by Dick Willis. More about Ausper later.
