JB on pole at Monterey.

Up against some pretty impressive opposition too. Joe's Corvette, incidentally, is the last car ever raced by Peter Brock, at Goodwood in 2006.

Greetings from Joe.

Dear All:
Just a note to tell that we are on holiday during August....but we do not forget our friends in the Far Side of the World.......Ramón is so busy with the new baby a Porsche 928 which will be used for racing....and was started from scrap.....this has delayed a bit the project with our Nagari....but will come on again next winter......and we will change the front end and fit that one from the Mustang......etc....!
                                                                            Kindest regards..........! Joe "Surtees"

Another query.

From Tony Briton.

Do the late model Ford modular engines fit in the Nagari Chassis?

Sway Bars

From Barry Currie.

Kim littleton was asking me about my sway bar as his two cars do not have them fitted. I rang John Remfry as I was advised he might be able to help with this  info. His comment was it would not have been specially made and he thought it may be off a Healey. He also commented that very few cars are fitted with them as they perform better without them. I would be interested to hear from othe Bolly owners what they think. Barry Currie

I remember Errol asking the same questions I think. I don't think he got very far either. The race Nagaris had them. Barry Main actually had TruTrack sponsorship. Are they still around? K-Mac were doing sway bars for Nagaris.

Joe "SURTEES"

Looking pretty healthy these days.
How's that Nagari coming along, Joe?

John Edwards Davies 1944 - 2012.

I feel awful about John's passing. So how must Diane and their kids and grandkids feel? Not to mention his friends in the MGCCQ and the Queensland Fire Brigade. Another victim of the Big C. He knew it was coming and only 2 or 3 weeks ago he was arranging for a friend to take moulds of the bonnet vents on his B8/26 so that I could use them on mine. John was Mr. Mt. Cotton Hillclimb, competitor, official, organiser and working bee stalwart. Miss you already John.

Bits and pieces

Steve Rowley has found a Morris Minor fuel tank for his Mark 4 so everybody can stop looking now. Meanwhile, Tony Briton wouldn't mind locating a Jag rear end for his up-coming Nagari project. Ikara #4 has been sold and has gone to Queensland. Two brothers up there now have an Ikara each.

I presume this is where the 116 chassis plate has gone.

It was listed for sale on Graham's NSW website for ages. I wonder if it sold.
It uses a Fibrecar space frame so that means there could still be a chassis floating around somewhere for the yellow coupe body.
