Shades of SR6.

This is Peter Turnbull's Turnham TS8 from Tassie.

Quite a formidable unit especially in its home state. But like the SR6 it is powered by a red 6.

Admittedly it's a turbocharged 186 that puts out 400hp.
What made me think of the SR6 was the tomato stake bonnet prop.

So long ago that Melbourne phone numbers only had 6 digits. There's no indication of what motor was in it except that it was fully worked. It's sticking up through the bonnet. Who was Mark Ingram? Its rego number is KLU-077. Does that ring a bell? Where is this car now? I presume it still exists.

The Nc XY GT has just received its rebuilt engine. Kym started it up for us. That brought out the neighbours across the paddock. CAMS decibel police that have emerged since it last raced are going to love it.
