Here's another one from Peter Garvin's 1980s Seaforth GP collection. It's the Eldred Norman Zephyr Special again, this time in Hawthorn Green livery and being driven by its owner, Graeme Snape. He must have had it for a while now. That Zephyr six is a pretty good motor. When Ken Stratton removed his from his Mark 7 to replace it with the Holden red motor so that he could go ProdSports racing, it was quickly snapped up by Bob Gay for his Mark 7. Bob eventually sold that car to Peter Taylour and Peter's recent comment that it was the best sounding Mark 7 he had ever heard still rings in my ears, mainly because I think he's right. There was a Zephyr powered Milano GT that used to race here in SA not that long ago. I'll track down some info on it for Bruno in Switzerland as he's pretty hungry for information on Milanos.
