I'm told I need glasses.

Beven's mate sandblasts these lovely glasses. It's time we had some Bolwell ones. Any suggestions?

7 real ones.

(I'm told.)

Kapunda - week 74

A nice fastback in Hill Street.

First racecar transporter?

The first Porsche.

Mark 5 for sale.

Some details of "Stukey2"s Mark 5 sent to the NSW club.

There's a bit of chassis work done here and that's the ideal way to deal with those Mark 5 chassis. The big cross-flow radiator looks good too.

The coveted bonnet.

This is the bonnet everyone seems to want lately but no-one can find a mould.

Autosportsman December 1964.

Jeff Rowse found this in the above mentioned Autosportsman.
It's a gullwing Mk.4 coupe at the Riverside drags in Victoria.
There is no mention of the car in the text. There is a comment though that Graham (sic) Bolwell previously held the "gasser" class record in his 292 cu. in. Fairlane.

Unbelievable.

Hi all,

The locks on the factory gates were cut and my trailer Rego Number T39795 containing my Rennmax Brabham was stolen last night from Rowville VIC.

Can you please keep an eye out for it and if you see it can you contact the Police or me on 0438438093.
Regards
Jay Bondini
Whoever stole it can't sell it or even bring it out to play with. It would be recognised straight away. It doesn't make sense.

Fantacyland.

I still dream of discovering something like this in the bush one day.

Still a beaut looking car.

Even in its underwear.
Can't wait to see this Mark 5 with some paint on.

AIR nostalgia.

This is Terry Spooner in B8/47. (above).
.......and this is a very young Keith..... or is it Claus? B8/59.
Very early sports versions - B8/47 being the very first and B8/59 being the third. In between was the Ross Bond race car, B8/55.

Gary Allen's Nagari for auction.

Wanted to let you know that Nagari B8-57 will be auctioned by Shannons in Melbourne on 17th February 2014. Gary's family have taken the decision to sell his beloved car and hope it gets the same love and attention it deserves and Gary would want. I have updated the unique history of this Nagari in the attached document. I hope the file is not too large to give you problems. I could send it on a CD if required. Could you put the word around and I can talk to any interested people.
Regards for Xmas and 2014.

Kapunda - week 73

This giant Buick wagon.
I should have taken the photo from behind. I'm sure they were HD Holden tail lights. Then again, they did dip into each other's parts bins.

Whole new ball game.

Might need some driving lessons. The last 4WD I had was a WW2 Willys Jeep and that didn't have 2 or 300 Kw at the wheels. Reckon I'll study up on the Haltech first.

Halstead at it again.

Paul is a bit like Campbell, once it's in your blood it's hard to give up.

I heard Scott reminiscing about his ride in the brutal Giocattolo one Easter. "It shook the bottles off the top shelf at the drive-in bottleo".
