I can remember cars getting turned away from drag meets as they were in primer. This was pre ANDRA when they were trying to promote the image of drag racing and only wanted professionally finished cars. Now I see matte black Honda Accords all over the place as well as Cayennes and Lambos. Grey primer used to be called "racing grey". What do they call the matte black? Stealth paint?
