Caversham in WA is an old race circuit that was closed in the 60s when Wanneroo was introduced. A D-shaped circuit built on a former US Navy airstrip. It was home to the 1957 and 1962 Australian Grand Prix. Yesterday the VSCC-WA held a display of vintage and race cars and a run to Caversham, gaining support to save the old circuit. Here's a few of Stacey's pictures that that he took yesterday.
It was good to see Austin Powers and Felicity Shagwell there sitting alongside the red Shagwell coupe. It was good also to see that Stacey is right on top of setting the date on his camera images. And good to see the boys out in the VC and Granny's pies getting recognition and a couple of nice Mk.7s. Here's another Bolly at the same event in a previous year.
