Hustler tail lights

These are the lights although my thinking that they were mounted vertically wasn't exactly correct.
My thoughts were obviously clouded by my recollection of them mounted on this V8 Mark 7.

Hey this is really nice information. I was looking for something similar like this. Thanks for this useful information about Tail light.

Actually the lights turned out to be from the Mustang style Celica but you get the picture.

Hey, I am a magician! In 1986 when I repainted the Bollie I replaced 2 of those rear taillights with examples off a Hillman Hunter. Now I find out that it was not a Hillman Hunter at Gawler Wreckers but a Mustang Style Celica. Funny dat.:)

Sorry Anonymous, I should have consulted you after a more recent owner told me of the Celica lights.

By the way, Gawler Wreckers still have lots of Hunter tail lights of the Nagari type in very good condition.

That car was sold by me in 1986 which is 25 years ago, then was wrecked and sat in Munno Para wreckers for at least 10 years, lost its motor and box and ID plates so who knows what tail lights it has had since but when I owned it they were HH. When I checked out the car in 2004 at Williamstown I did not think to check out the taillights - I do not think they were even in the car as much work had been done to remove Bobby's spoiler. Just focussed on and was staggered by the amount of damage to the front. The similar surrounds and lenses of the Celica have a body line moulded in their centre although another such Celica model does not have the body line nor chromed surrounds at all being fitted in an applique panel

the best part of the major crash in 1986 was it removed the Nagari nose panel which had been fitted to the car
