A chance to talk mostly about Bolwell Sports Cars.
Guess that production will now move to the Thai factory.
Depends on what tools survived for kenworth n iveco.they may move them to seafood as shipping bulking components from Rayong is very expensive indeed.Plus if any tools were damaged that the designs survived to re make tools in quick timing.
Offset in cheaper Thai wages and less regulation and overheads would easily pay for any transport. I believe they were already making Kenworth and Iveco stuff here anyway.
Hopefully they stay here...although who'd blame them for moving offshore with the current government trying its hardest to stamp out Australian manufacturing.
John, I thought of you when I found this old footage of stock car racing in Oz. Cheers!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G33HGAsF1U8
Most of the Kenworth moulds were saved and production is now underway at Seaford.
