Jim's new toy.

Look what Jim W's got in the carport now.
He looks pretty pleased with himself. He's been a bit of a fan of these little S600s, they're "technically very advanced for 1965". In typical Jim fashion, he'll tear it down and rebuild it even though it is complete, going and was on historic registration. That shouldn't take him long though.

Jim, a 302 Windsor would look good in place of that little rice burner, Ross

.... a 13B rotary would fit better and be lighter than the 302. LOL

There used to be one that ran at Collingrove with a bigger engine. Can't remember now what it was, probably Cortina.

John, that was a twin weber equipped 2L Ford in a S600 roadster. I bought it to get the drop axle car trailer it sat on many years ago (about 1986/87 from memory). I had a couple of these little beasts whilst I lived in the Barossa including a very original S600 roadster I sold to a physio in Tanunda who restored it completely. Lovely little car even if it did have an S800 grille. The separate chassis made them ideal swap candidates - there is a turbo 2JZ beast on the web. I also has a mint 1400 Datsun powered S600 roadster at about the same time - a great little car I purchased off a Citroen addict in Munno Para. Pics sent to your email, Col

Naw, an all time fave. Prefer the fastbacks though
