Staceynews

hi all,
just to show you doubters that I am not doing any work on the Mk4b-well be impressed.....have stripped the rear completely-got to strip remainder on front- will than turn over and repair fibreglass and chassis .
-Also the front suspension will be redone...same set up but with better pick ups etc.
Also note motor, gearbox and diff centre-all recon and ready to go. I will be using twin Mikuni  hsr42's as they have worked real well on the hunter. (guy in Victoria has seen them and is going to use them on his torana.....)
Stacey-the Pres who said to Roz-it will be ready for Albany...

Not having looked at the front end of these cars too closely, what's the bump steer like?
The tie rod angle looks to be a fair way from ideal.

Hmmm, home built car 1963 to 1964. I think bump steer was standard equipment at that time.

believe it or not, it isn't that pronounced- surprising good considering. I drove it from adelaide to perth
and was surprised how well it both rode and steered.

Did the helmet reduce the diff whine?
