A Milano with a difference.

This is not your ordinary .Milano roadster but is, in fact, a GT. It's not a GT with the roof cut off either. It was ordered as an open car in the early 60s and is the only Milano GT in this form.

Here's Ron Sandi, the then owner, competing in 1963 or 4.
Well, noted GT owner, Paul Manton, has resurrected the car.
And their "coming out" was at Eastern Creek last weekend.
Here's Sam Johnson (the "J" in JWF) reaquainting himself with the car at the event. Ned McGovern was there too as well as Ned's daughter Tammie.
\
Incidentally, Geoff Williams (the "W" in JWF) unfortunately passed away yesterday.

Why did I say "noted GT owner"? Well, Paul and perhaps other family members, own a number of them including the ex-SA Valano.....
....and  a couple of others including a Chev V8 powered one.

Or am I confusing Manton with Hinton? Yes I definately am.

Paul is coming out with a Milano book in the New Year. I'd like to put my name down for one now.

See your post October 29: Allan T. Painted the Milano roadster, he owned the ex McAllister White Mk 7 at the same time and later the Geviva Mk 4. PeterG

Ah yes - minus the Minilites and the side exhaust.
