EVs set to bring hundreds of jobs to Victoria's Latrobe Valley.

SEA Electric  in collaboration with the Victorian state government, will setup a factory in Morwell to commence production of Australian made EVs. Well done SEA Electric.
Perhaps not a headline story globally but locally in Australia this is a breath of fresh air for local EV supporters who have seen the country slide far behind the global transport revolution.
SEA builds commercial vehicles and one of its first customers was Kings Transport. At the time Kings bought 9 trucks from SEA one of which (a removals truck) was spotted as far afield as the southern suburbs of Perth recently.
The factory in Morwell is due to commence production over the next year. It will provide employment for about 500 people and expects a production run of about 5,000 vehicles annually. With industrialist Sanjeev Gupta promising to build a local EV in Australia is this the renaissance of the Aussie auto manufacturing industry?
