"1965 Bruno Carosi in his Bolwell Mark 5 Repco Holden" leading the Tasma Peugeot and an Elfin.
We've always thought that the car was burnt in a fire and that was the end of it.
According to Randall L., "back in the day it was burnt in a fire (no.1). The burnt wreck was sold to one of the early members of the local Van Diemens Hot Rod Club who started a long restoration. The chassis was shown at a hot rod show at the PCYC in Launceston in the early 70s. In the early 2000s there was another fire (no.2) when restoration was nearly complete. Back to the drawing board. Hopefully it will rise again."
Ellis F., who provided the colour photo, mentioned that it had a grey then a 179.
