"Aussie Barn Find"

Here's another Jalopnik page. This "discovery" of 297 cars is actually a collection of a fellow Gawler Club member and former Bolwell owner.

Pardon my ignorance John, do you know what the 2 red cars and the blue clubman are in photo #16?

Also of interest: new on Flickr - a photo of Georges MkV,
"australian sport car specials' photostream", note the Yellow Mk7 in the Album fitted with a Holden Grey motor, WA? The Blue J&S Hunter with the BCCA sticker on the back window is probably Ray Julians'??

Peter, Are you aware of the kit car called the Nimbus Stratus? There has been at least one of them in our club in SA in the past. I will post a photo of one today sometime. They were quite good looking, streamlined and had gull wing doors. Well, the shed where all these cars are, belongs to the Nimbus constructor and the red convertible is the prototype open version of the Stratus. A good number of Nimbus Formula Vees were built by the same constructor. The other 2 cars you asked about I can't remember and will have to go back to photo #16 and have another look. Steve Rowley might come in here because he is his mate. Chris G might be interested to know that this man once owned his Mk.7, having rescued it from a wrecking yard in Salisbury and subsequently selling it to Steve.
The blue J&S Hunter now belongs to Stacey Nicolaou and he is bringing it to SA for Easter. The ex-SA silver one is in the NSW club and BCCA members over there have located yet another one.
