Yesterday morning a few Packards rolled into town.
It made me a bit late for my trip to Adelaide but well worth the delay. Magnificent motor cars especially the examples from the twenties and thirties.

Salt Lake Milano.
Remember Simon was looking for a new body for the blue Milano?
Well, a mould has been taken from Neville D's body.
Mark at Auto Art in Moonta did the work and it's certainly impressive. A high quality mould with tooling gel. Will try and keep you posted on future progress.

Time for a Queensland car.
Stacey took these photos when he was up that way last month. He recognised this Mark 7 as the ex-Eastwood car. It's one of three belonging to Bazza Campbell.

Progress in Madrid.
Some chassis pics and a plea about gear linkage.
(Cat's out of the bag - it's going left hand drive)
Dear John,
Dear John,
I never thought that the gear box linkage could be a problem for
making the gear box work, please have a look at the pictures I´ve
already sent to you....the pack (Eng. and gear box9 come from an old
Mustang......and the standard linkage.....sits too much back and we been
told that there there exist a system that we can buy and fit on top of
the gear box so that´s it-......please could you help and put a biit of
light about this....?
Thanks and regards : Joe.

Photo shoot.
See. You don't have to be in a bikini to look sexy. Ripped jeans are fine.
Can't wait for the Sunday Times to come out.

Vinyl
Yes, I agree, Kristin's 7 would be the very first vinyl wrapped Bolwell.
Looks great doesn't it.
Might go one better and bubble wrap mine.

Comment JB
Just thought we might change direction ... a little. Seems you all loved the ol days, so here's one you might remember. The mighty Veskanda I raced in the 80's, built by K & A Engineering in Adelaide. It was owned by Bernie Van Elson, it was arguably the best car I've raced. I set lap records everywhere we raced it. The last time I raced it was with Dick Johnson in 1988 in the Sandown 6 Hour International race. We ran dry on fuel, those Group C races were economy runs. The car is now owned by my mate Paul Stubber, he's racing it overseas and doing very well in Historic Group C races. Once a good car, always a good car I say! Those were the days. Cheers JB
