I used to have a Nissan E20 that I repowered with a 4.4 V8 from a P76. A real sleeper but had a range of just on 200 kms per tank.
Yes, Ron Westren has a Holden V8 in hisBedford camper too, but what I really liked was John Szabo's old transit van that he plonked a 289 dead set in the middle of the floor in the cargo area.
