Comment JB

Just thought we might change direction ... a little. Seems you all loved the ol days, so here's one you might remember. The mighty Veskanda I raced in the 80's, built by K & A Engineering in Adelaide. It was owned by Bernie Van Elson, it was arguably the best car I've raced. I set lap records everywhere we raced it. The last time I raced it was with Dick Johnson in 1988 in the Sandown 6 Hour International race. We ran dry on fuel, those Group C races were economy runs. The car is now owned by my mate Paul Stubber, he's racing it overseas and doing very well in Historic Group C races. Once a good car, always a good car I say! Those were the days. Cheers JB
