The SR6 wasn't the only car in team 24.

There were a few Mark 7s as well.
Like Doug Seath's for example.....
That's a hooded Deidre, resplendent in white, but managing to keep a bit cleaner than Doug.
And Johnny Szabo's..........
And Frank Rushton's.............
This is a relay race after all and this is Frank coming into the dummy grid which is where the sash changes take place.

  2. The 6 hour relay race is an annual event and has been for many years in Victoria (and in SA too) where teams of 4 to 6 cars are entered, mostly by car clubs. The team driver on the track carries a sash on her or him which is removed by the teams runner when the driver comes off the track and is transferred to the subsequent driver. The idea is that the team that carries their sash around the circuit the most times is the outright winner. There are lots of strategies a team manager needs to consider to gain a good placing. There is also an index of performance or handicap event within the race based on nominated lap times or practice lap times. These photos of Warwick's were at the 1974 Victorian event at Calder where the Victorian BCCA had entered a team, which they had been doing for some time. If I remember correctly, the following year they entered two teams and SA entered one.
