A bunch of bananas
This is the exhaust on Jim Clark's 1965 Lotus Indy Car. The car was purpose built for Indy. It has raced only once, and won!It was at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this week, on loan from the Ford Museum, Detroit.
Interesting to see that this was a sleeved down alloy block 260. Anyone know what heads it used or did they simply reverse the rotation to get the inlets on the outside of the V and the exhausts on the inside of the V. Sorry to be so dumb but a very interesting engine and car.
And I think it was a sbf Windsor under all of that!
