More Nimbus Stratus

I knew I had them somewhere. I even found the negatives. Anyway here is another Stratus. This is what they look like.

  1. Peter G asks if it was an original design or one imported from UK. Clive, the constructor, was (a) very innovative and (b) very much into Australian design and Australian specials (not like Purvis) so I feel sure that I can say they were all his own work. There was another similar gull-winged car built in SA by a Scot who later moved back to Scotland with the intention of building the Ikara over there. By the time everything was put in place the Ikara stuff had mysteriously disappeared and been packed off to Athens. He went to Greece to search for clues but found nothing. His name is Jim Smith. Graham Nichols mentions him in his Ikara website.
