It was actually a Kart track round behind the Mildura airport. Quite limiting for cars in terms of speed etc but all the Eureka owners had a pretty good time.
I recall silent running electric milk delivery vehicles in the UK with rubberised crates to keep the noise to a minimum. This was in the 1940's and still going strong. Few people nowadays would believe there were electric powered Vehicles that long ago.
